licences resigning. The most serious thing in consequence
would be the great loss sustained by the present members of
the Pilots Association as a large sum of money has been spent in
purchasing pilot boats, a schooner, and other plant necessary to make it an efficient service.
He would beg to ask that before his Excel-
-lency the Governor comes to any definite conclusion, he will be:
